Mostly A’s: You enjoy a home that is brilliantly beautiful. A lover of all things bold and colorful your interiors should reflect the brilliance of summer. Incorporate objects that bring life into each room. Freshly painted walls, accent pillows and vibrant vases make for the perfect summer design.
Mostly B’s: Transform your home into a coastal retreat that reflects elegance. It’s no wonder so many flock to the Hamptons and New England towns for summer getaways. Their soft color palette against nautical inspired decor make for a laid back luxury. Companies like Pottery Barn keep a seasonal inventory of coral, reclaimed ship decor, and other marine-inspired elements.
Mostly C’s: Who says decor gets better with age? Vintage is the new chic style so embrace its glamor and classic style. Etsy is the “go-to” place for handmade, vintage items that will truly create a “wow” factor in your space. Flea markets are another great place to discover one of a kind objects that will twinkle in your home. Summer is the perfect season to showcase weathered finds both indoors and outdoors.
Mostly D’s: Congratulations, you love the clean and simple. Minimal in design your interior will demonstrate an ease that is both beautiful and uncluttered. Sure your home won’t translate “summer style,” but who cares. Contemporary can oftentimes be timeless becoming relevant in any season. Keep your interiors fresh with a monochromatic palette of whites, creams and taupes. You can also add a splash of summer color with soft cool tones that evoke easy living.
