Rodan + Fields Reverse is a skin-care treatment that utilizes MultiMed therapy to treat hyperpimentation caused by sun and environmental damage. Here is a brief comparison of Rodan + Fields Reverse to other common treatments for age spots.
Better than Over-the-Counter Treatments
Whereas many over-the-counter (OTC) products mainly lighten the skin, Reverse is not not merely a bleach to be dabbed on brown spots and other hyperpigmentation, nor does it just treat the surface like glycolic acid, light peels or microdermabrasion treatments. These topical treatments do not address the excessive pigment accumulated in the deeper skin levels where Reverse regimen does much of its work.
Better than Laser Treatments
Laser treatments can affect change into deeper layers of the skin, but laser treatments are done after age spots appear on the surface and do not address excessive pigment accumulations which have not made it to the surface yet. While Reverse also works in the deeper layers like laser treatments, Reverse is a full-face medication which is not painful like laser treatments can be, nor is it nealry as costly.
Better than Prescription Medications
Reverse frequently performs better than prescription medications. Prescriptions often contain high percentages of Hydroquinine to be used on the affected areas only. These formulations can migrate and form lighter rings around the age spots. While the brown marks usually lighten, the resulting combination of remaining darker skin and the lighter rings where the medication migrated does little to promote an even skin tone.
Simple, Full-Face Solution
“Rodan + Fields offers Reverse Regimen as a simple, full-face solution that tackles both the damage below the surface and the visible pigmentation that is the result of years of incidental sun exposure,” says Rodan + Fields Dermatologists nurse Mary Radford.* “The Reverse Regimen exfoliates away dulling dead cells, lightens unwanted pigmentation, evens skin tone, brightens the overall complexion, and protects against further UV damage, visibly improving the appearance of environmentally aged skin.”
Best of Beauty Choice Awards for Best Brown Spot Remedy
The Reverse Regimen won Aventura Magazine’s Best of Beauty Choice Awards for Best brown spot remedy. Reverse clinical study results show why. The Reverse Regimen can also be used with the new Rodan + Fields AMP MD Micro-Needle Roller Delivery System for maximum results.
