Everyone from political leaders to ministers of the cloth have an opinion on today’s youth. Have you ever wondered what the world would look like if someone asked parents? Today’s youth are bombarded with too much of everything. Options in for lunch menu, ice cream flavor to custom colored I-pads with a lock. Have parents been pushed to the back burner? Do you matter?
Joe Brevard (Charlotte), Auto Technition and father of two stated, “all we need is love and hugs,” Idris Talib, CEO of New Haven Family Services, a Mental Health & Addictions firm (Charlotte) has a 9 year-old son and sighs, “it’s out of control.” Ms. Lisa Johnson, single parent from MD looking to re-locate to the Charlotte area chimes in with, “there’s nothing wrong with any of us? We simply need to pray more.”
