If you live in the Bremerton area and would like to take a CPR or first-aid class, the American Red Cross has a selection of courses coming up during the month of June. Check out their website for online registration and further information. These Red Cross classes are held in downtown Bremerton at 811 Pacific Avenue. Adult CPR/AED & First Aid is being presented from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates May 28th (hurry, there’s still spots open!) or June 18th. The cost is $63. This class does meet OSHA and WISHA requirements, but is not appropriate for those who need healthcare-level CPR.
Adult CPR/AED plus Child & Infant CPR & First Aid is 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 26th. Cost is $75.
Adult CPR/AED & First Aid REVIEW is June 17th 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. – This class is for recertification in Adult CPR, AED, and first-aid. (This class is not for the professional rescuer.) Cost $52
There are also the following CPR/AED classes without First Aid:
Adult CPR/AED is 5:30-8:30 p.m. on June 14th and June 28th. The cost is $48.
Adult CPR/AED plus Child & Infant CPR is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 11th, cost is $60.

The Bremerton Fire Department does not have any CPR classes during the summer months, and unfortunately Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue is unable to provide CPR classes to the public due to budget cuts.
South Kitsap Fire & Rescue has the following classes:
Adult CPR & First Aid is June 1st at 6 p.m. – This class does not meet the requirements for health care providers. Class lasts about 3 to 3 ½ hours. Fee $20 (non-refundable)
Pediatric CPR Only (0-8 year old) is June 15th at 6 p.m. – class lasts about 2 to 2 ½ hours. Fee $20 (non-refundable)
South Kitsap Fire & Rescue classes require pre-registration during normal business hours at their headquarters located at 1974 Fircrest Dr SE in Port Orchard or via phone at 360 871 2411 with a credit card.
