8 P.M. (BRAVO) The Real Housewives of New Jersey Stick It-Melissa lives out her dream of being a mother and pop star; Caroline attempts to take her motherly advice to the air waves; an unexpected phone call puts Teresa and her brother face to face for the first time since the Christening.Two more episodes follow at 9 and 10pm.
9 P.M. (USA) LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT The series wraps as Detectives Goren (Vincent D’Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) investigate the murders of two employees of an Internet company involved in a heated lawsuit. The officers’ sleuthing leads them to a site that connects strangers who’ve had brief romantic encounters.
9 P.M. (TNT) LEVERAGE Season 4 kicks off as Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton), the insurance investigator turned high-tech Robin Hood, and his team go after a sleazy financier and some evidence lost high on a mountain.
9 P.M. (WNET 13) POIROT XI: THE CLOCKS David Suchet continues his stint as the dapper Belgian supersleuth Hercule Poirot in the second of three new mysteries based on the novels by Agatha Christie and presented by “Masterpiece Mystery!” In this installment, a stenographer, Sheila Webb (Jaime Winstone), is greeted at a job not by her client but by a strange assemblage of clocks stopped at the same moment and, behind the couch where she is seated, a corpse. Horrified, she runs screaming into the street — and into the arms of a Navy officer. Colin Race (Tom Burke). He takes her story to Poirot, and together they try to exonerate her. But then a second person dies, and all evidence points to Sheila.
9 P.M. (HBO) TRUE BLOOD At the end of Season 3, the vampire king Russell Edgington was buried alive in concrete, thus ending his plans for world domination. But what happened to Sookie (Anna Paquin), who disappeared in a flash of light? And can she ever trust Bill (Stephen Moyer) after he broke her heart? Season 4 prepares to answer those questions and others, starting with the whereabouts of Sookie, as Bill and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) try to win back the public, and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) learns that no good deed goes unpunished.
10 P.M. (WNBC) THE MARRIAGE REF In this Season 2 opener, Ricky Gervais, Julianne Moore and Jerry Seinfeld, one of the series’s executive producers, help sparring couples determine who is right — and who is not — in a variety of marital situations. Among them: a wife who has been pushed to her breaking point by her husband’s obsession for growing giant pumpkins, and a husband who thinks his mother-in-law’s visits are way too long. At the end of each episode, the studio audience will vote one person “The Rightest of the Right.” The winner will receive $25,000 and a hometown billboard proclaiming his or her correctness. The comedian Tom Papa is the host and official referee.
