Think before sex outside of marriage!
I truly believe there is a reason far beyond what our little finite minds can conceive or comprehend that we should seriously consider what the Lord has said about marriage … There is an astute reason why God has given us boundaries for marriage! Why He created Adam and made Eve from his rib bone… Sexual intercourse joins you together and creates a marvelous spiritual bond! This is another reason why one must be careful as to how and who they join themselves together with. There is an exchange that takes place here. This exchange is so very powerful that it creates an environment where new life can begin! Look at God!
Conception takes place as the man’s sperm is implanted inside of the woman during intercourse. The man’s reproductive system and the woman’s reproductive system favorably respond together. This is when fertilization takes place between the woman’s ovum and the man’s sperm. Usually the gestation period is for about nine months and then a baby, girl or boy is born. There can also be multiple births as well… Life coming from this union is a marvelous everyday miracle! But indeed for most women a very memorable painful process! The pain we suffer in childbirth is a result of Eve’s not listening!
I mentioned earlier in Part 1 the plight of the California former governor and his family because it is a known fact that has been throughout the news. This is not to spread gossip but to get us ALL to think! It is an example that has already gotten the attention of many! There is much to be learned from this situation. Many marriages are breaking up and they don’t really understand the spiritual warfare that is going on about and around them to divide them. This in turn splinters the family… It is because the principles that God has designed for marriage have been set aside!
A good marriage has healthy boundaries! Just like a fence that defines your property; so you will know that you have trespassed onto someone else’s property… The world at large is becoming desensitized to “marriage God’s way!” Therefore it makes it easier for many to set aside their marital vows. Many marry for the wrong reason… God allows us to choose but it is important that we weigh the consequences for those choices!
Birth and life are fascinating! If we are honest with ourselves we know that the marvelous miracle of birth is quite mind boggling. Adam was not born of a woman he was created by God from the dust of the earth. Adam was created a full grown man. He was equipped to take on a life partner! Eve was created by God from his rib bone… After they listened to satan and disobeyed God, they were banished from the marvelous garden God had prepared for them. This changed the course of their life. Here again we can see the lasting consequences for not listening, God told them this:
To the woman: “I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you…”
To the man: “Because you listened to your wife and ate of the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it.’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since it is from the ground that you were taken; for dust you are and dust you shall return.” Genesis 3.
Before this all took place Adam had not yet named Eve nor was the ground cursed when God made Adam from the dust… Adam later after they left the garden Adam lay with his wife Eve and she conceived. “Adam lay with his wife Eve and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man. Later she gave birth to his brother Abel” Genesis 4. Cain her first son ended up killing his brother Abel…
Before they disobeyed God life in the garden was a blissful carefree existence! This all changed! They had allowed satan to influence them and this broke their close intimate relationship with God! They were now ashamed and became guilty, thus tried to hide from Him! Which is really impossible because God is Omnipresent; He is everywhere!
We can learn much from Adam & Eve. They were the first to sin… However because of this original sin of disobedience “sin” has now entered the world. Sin is anything that separates us from God! Their impulsive decision changed the course of their lives and the consequences were lifelong…
Sin became rampart and subsequent generations acted out of disobedience as well… Because sin became so prevalent and man continuously did what was “right in their own eyes” God eventually destroyed the world. It was just Noah and his family that listened to God… The Lord had Noah to build and prepare a huge boat called an “Ark” to safely keep his family along with the animals, birds and creeping insects during the torrential rains that eventually destroyed the world by a flood…
