Country superstar Miranda Lambert is set to duet with Dia Frampton on “The Voice” live season finale, NBC announced Friday (June 24). Lambert’s husband Blake Shelton coaches Frampton on the singing competition series, which airs its final episode on Wed., June 29 at 8/7c.
“I am thrilled to perform on my favorite new show,” Lambert said in a network press release. “It’s been a joy watching my husband grow so attached to his team.”
The Grammy-winning singer is currently headlining the “Revolution Continues” tour and recording her fourth album to be released this fall. Lambert and Shelton were married last month.

The country star admits that she’s a bit jealous of her husband’s coaching duties on the reality series, which also features Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine.
“Truthfully, I am a little jealous that I am not a coach myself,” she said. “I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
Shelton expressed his excitement about the duet on Twitter, writing, “Special guest surprise Grammy winning multi-platinum ass whipping MEGA-STAR duet?….check.”
He later added: “So my secret torpedo of talent has now been unveiled. The Great Miranda Lambert will perform with Dia Frampton next week.”
Frampton will compete against fellow finalists Vicci Martinez (Team Cee-Lo), Javier Colon (Team Adam) and Beverly McClellan (Team Christina).
So far, the 23-year-old singer has wowed the judges and viewers with unique renditions of Kanye West‘s “Heartless” and R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion.” Frampton beat out her 16-year-old teammate, Xenia, last week to represent Team Blake.
“This special duet is what ‘The Voice’ represents to our audience,” Paul Telegdy, NBC and Universal Media Studios’ executive vice president of universal programming, said in a statement. “Together, Miranda and Blake, who represent a true power couple in country music, will help provide a memorable finale for our first season.”
The final four finalists will perform original songs during Tuesday night’s two-hour performance show. The winner of “The Voice” — who will receive $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Republic — will be announced during the live results show the following night.
UPDATE: NBC has confirmed that Stevie Nicks will perform with Javier Colon, Train’s Pat Monahan will sing with Vicci Martinez and OneRepublic lead singer Ryan Tedder will duet with Beverly McClellan on Wednesday’s two-hour finale.
