Re-Animator- The Musical, based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft, directed by Stuart Gordon who created the 1985 cult film. The musical is taking audiences by storm with Gordon’s stage adaptation and has already been extended to it’s current closing date in Hollywood on August 14th.
With such a talented cast and crew, great storyline, and fun experience, it is no doubt this may be the next Little Shop of Horrors. The noteworthy cast consists of actors and actresses that have a respectable list of credits from famed Second City, Long Beach Opera House, The Geffen Playhouse, UCB, and various stage and screen productions. The singing, humor, and storyline are all top notch and though it’s humor is derived from basic gore, it brings out the child in you while you giggle with the rest of the audience. The addition of local live bands should only enhance the performances and the atmosphere.
