Fans already know that villain Bentley Williams returns on Monday’s episode of ABC’s The Bachelorette 2011. Scottsdale fans are tired of hearing about him, but Ashley Hebert has been stuck in Bentley mode and told show host Chris Harrison that she needed to see him in order to move on with the other guys. What can fans expect in Monday’s episode? Insiders with Us Weekly magazine share some tidbits in their new issue that give viewers an idea of what happens Monday night.
Will Bentley be honest with Ashley?
Everyone knows that Bentley flies to Hong Kong and Ashley meets with him in the hotel. Fans are hoping that he will come clean with Ashley about his true feelings about her. Many are also wishing that Chris or the production staff would show Ashley some of the tapes they have of Bentley calling her an “ugly duckling” or the far more hateful things he said about her. Unfortunately fans won’t get what they are hoping to see in those respects. However, that doesn’t mean that Ashley spends the rest of the season hung up on Bentley.
No future together
According to Us magazine, Bentley isn’t honest with Ashley, and he still strings her along to an extent. Apparently he even allows Ashley to kiss him while they are together. However, Bentley does tell her that they have no future together and he was wrong when he gave her the “dot-dot-dot” business that left her hanging onto the idea of them being together. The insider shares that Ashley is left in a much better place after Bentley leaves this time and is ready to move forward.
An explosive reaction from the guys
Many fans have indicated they think the guys should walk out en masse. Will viewers get their wish? Sources share that “the fallout is explosive” with the other bachelors when Ashley admits all that has been going on with Bentley. One guy walks out during the cocktail party – could there be another before the finale airs? However, all sources and spoilers indicate that Ashley ends up with a happy ending, and that all is well at this point. Certainly many wonder how Ashley’s chosen guy, assuming there is one, is handling what he is watching play out on the show so far.
Will fans stay tuned?
Viewers have been anxious to be done with the Bentley issue, and it sounds like after this Monday’s episode, that will happen. Will there be enough happiness and romance to keep fans watching? Ratings were down last week compared to previous weeks, and fans across social media sites are frustrated with the season. They hate that Ashley is looking foolish and childish, and people are tired of Bentley. Can this season be salvaged? Will fans stick around to see how things end? Here’s hoping ABC and the producers realize what fans have been seeking and give it to them: romance.
The Bachelorette episodes can be seen every Monday night at 7 p.m. on Channel 15 in the Scottsdale area. You can also watch The Bachelorette online at ABC.com the day after the show airs.
