Ernie Haas and Signature Sound will follow them on August 1st at 8 p.m. in the grandstand. What an opportunity for one of the most popular singing families in the Springfirld area. Many Christians have followed them for over 20 years as they perform at Ridgecrest Baptist Church each year. The Bilyeu family is tied to the Baldknobbers in Branson through Debbie who is a Mabe and sang with the group at one time.
Signature Sound is an award winning gospel quartet that was founded by former Cathedral Quartet tenor Ernie Haas in 2003. These gentlemen have Dove Awards and a Grammy nomination. Their music combines the best of traditional southern gospel quartet sound and modern contemporary christian influences. This night at the fair promises to be a great time.
The 75th annual Ozark Empire Fair is not limited to one night of good entertainment. Disney’s Imagination Movers for the kids, Smash Mouth, Dwight Yoakam, Ashley Monroe, Three Dog Night, The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie, The Grass Roots, The Association, The Buckinghams and Mark Lindsay the former lead singer of Paul Revere & the Raiders are others that will perform on the grandstand stage. Bull Blast, truck and tractor pulls and a demolition derby add something for almost everyone.
If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, be sure you get them by Thursday, July 28 for a discount for gate admission and you can order event tickets on line or at the grandstand entrance the night of your favorite event. See you at the fair.
