Another season comes to a close tonight on The Biggest Loser. Hannah and Olivia are already in the final three, and Jay and Irene are battling for the final spot. America voted on which one to send through to the finale, and Ali Sweeney reveals that the viewers chose Irene. This will be a first on The Biggest Loser, and all-girl finale.
This is Jillian’s last show, as she will be leaving the show with the wrap-up of this season. She is working on adopting a child, and will have a regular spot next fall on The Doctors. The audience gives Jillian a standing ovation as she says her goodbyes and shares that she is looking forward to new challenges.
Next comes the weigh-in of the other contestants to see who will win $100,000 at-home prize. Ana, Courtney and Marci are the first to weigh in, and Ana has the highest percentage of weight loss out of the three. Dan and Don weigh in next, and Dan edges Ana out for the lead. Next come Q and Larialmy, but Dan maintains the lead. Moses, Kaylee, Ken and Austin come to weigh in, and Austin edges out Dan with a higher percentage of weight loss. So far, everybody is looking amazing. So far five of the contestants who have had their final weigh-in have dropped over 40% of their original weight.
The next weigh-in group has Sarah, Deni, Arthur and Jesse, and Deni wows the audience with her 48.83% drop to give her the lead. Deni was the oldest woman on this season, and she just knocked out the youngest guy. Jay, Jen and Justin are the final three for this part of the show. Deni’s percentage will be tough to beat, and Justin comes the closest with his 47.40%. Deni wins the $100,000 at-home prize at the impressive age of 59 years of age.
Next Hannah and Olivia come on stage and the crowd goes wild. Since Irene was the Biggest Loser on the ranch, she gets to decide the order of the final weigh-in. Irene decides that Hannah will go first, then Irene, then Olivia. As the final three go backstage to change, Ali announces that a new trainer will be joining the show next season. Tennis great Anna Kournikova will be joining the crew when The Biggest Loser returns next fall.
Hannah weighs in first. She began the show at 248 pounds, and her final weight is 128 pounds. She lost an astounding 120 pounds with a 48.39% loss. Irene is next, and she started at 255 pounds. Her final weight is 139 pounds, which is a 116 pound loss, or 45.49%. Olivia began the show at 261 pounds, and her hard work paid off with a final weight of 132 pounds. This is a 49.43% loss, which gives Olivia the win. She goes home with the title of The Biggest Loser and a prize of $250,000.
Did you predict Olivia would be the winner? Were you excited to see an all-female final weigh-in? What do you think of Deni winning the at-home prize? Will you be excited to watch Anna as one of the trainers this fall? The Biggest Loser returns to NBC, Channel 12 in the Scottsdale area, this fall.
