The new season of The Bachelorette premiered on Channel 15 in Tempe on Monday, and Ashley handed out her first batch of roses. One rose went out before the rose ceremony and Ashley Hebert talked about her selection for the first impression rose on Tuesday morning in her People Magazine blog.
That first impression rose went to Ryan P. He was the first man she met coming out of the limos, and he made an impression then, but his conversation with her sealed it for her. Ashley said she “had a list of a few things I was looking for in a husband, and the first night, I saw ALL of those in Ryan P.” This is why he was given the first impression rose.
The premiere episode was not without its drama though. While things went smooth with Ryan P., she had one drunk man to deal with. She quickly decided to not deal with it and sent him home. Tim was a liquor distributor, and he was the one passed out on the couch.
Ashley was also warned about one of the men before taping even began, and he arrived on scene and swept her off her feet. That man is Bentley Williams. He will play a major factor in the season as it continues to unfold. Check out a sneak peek for the season here.
Fans were quick to react to the premiere of The Bachelorette, and they are still buzzing about the episode this morning. This Twitter talk also includes some famous faces. Jillian Harris, the woman from Bachelorette season five, chimed in with her thoughts. She said the following:
“Oh she gave my fav the first impression rose ….. Hmmmm #TheBachelorette.”
Lo Bosworth, best known from MTV’s The Hills, also had something to say about the premiere:
“tim. tim. tim. tim. hey tim. tim. wake up tim. hey tim.” hahahahhahahahahahahhaah #thebachelorette.”
