RockStar Energy Drink’s 2011 Scream It Like You Mean it tour will feature the bands, Breathe Carolina, Chiodos, I See Stars, The Color Morale, Tek-One, and The Air I Breathe. The annual tour will begin July 15 in Seattle, and concludes August 26 in Denver. The tour will be hitting Chicago on August 24 at the Bottom Lounge.
The Scream It Like You Mean It tour launched in 2010 with Silverstein, Emery, Dance Gavin Dance, I Set My Friends On Fire, Sky Eats Airplane, Ivoryline and Close To Home. For the 2011 tour, Breath Carolina will headline and Chiodos will act as direct support.
Headliners Breath Caroline will be touring in support of their third studio album, Hell Is What You Make It which is set to be released July 12, 2011 via Fearless Records. The Breath Carolina duo, David Schmitt and Kyle Even were part of the Punk Goes Pop 3 album, in which they covered Jay Sean’s “Down.” You can watch their video for “Down” by clicking here, on the player to the left.
Chiodos will be touring in support of their their third full-length album, Illuminaudio, which was released on October 5, 2011 via Equal Vision Records. The album debuted at No. 36 on the Billboard 200 Chart. The band recently wrapped up filming the music video of their next single, “Notes In Constellations”, which is currently in the final stages of production and is expected to be released later this summer.
For the Chicago, IL Scream It Like You Mean It stop, the venue has been downsized since the previous year. In 2010 the tour was at the 1,100 capacity sized Metro, and the 2011 tour will be at the 700 capacity sized Bottom Lounge. What do you think of the 2011 Scream It Like You Mean It lineup?
