RHK Productions wrapped up another successful event with their Lil Wayne Concert After-Party early Sunday morning. The event was organized by RHK Productions’ Director of Operations, Sweet T, who has now thrown two successful events under her Sweet T Entertainment/Vegas Parties Series.
“Sweet T expressed an interest in starting her own series of parties under the RHK Productions banner, so the baseline requirements were discussed, and she took it from there” said RHK Productions. “Her enthusiasm is unmatched in this business and now, with a few smaller parties under her belt, she’s ready to pursue larger events and venues. She has already initiated discussions regarding a much larger event at a club in Norfolk sometime around August 20th.”
The Lil Wayne Concert After-Party featured several of Virginia’s finest models, including the beautiful Candy. There was also a guest appearance by Philadelphia hip-hop star Sergio Morris, who treated the crowd to a live performance and also announced plans regarding the release of his upcoming mixtape.
Sweet T’s success can largely be attributed to throwing parties that are coined as “Vegas-style”, with plenty of complimentary drinks, cards, entertainment, guest appearances, and models. She also benefits from having a large following on the East Coast, which allows her to bring in some of the nation’s hottest entertainers and models.
RHK Productions has thrown some of the area’s best events recently, including the Red-Hot Kittens Tour 2011 Kick-Off Party featuring DC Hip-hop star MrYoungBanks (Club Lido’s, Norfolk) and The SUGA SP Album Release Party featuring SUGA SP, Ant Ferrario, Born I Music, Alicica Yvonne, FA$E, and the LOL models (Club Shaka’s, Virginia Beach Oceanfront). Future events are in the works with the legendary DJ Chill Will (Da Hit Squad) and one of Miami’s hottest producers, Don Mega (D-Block).
“Our goal is to become one of the more active and visible promotional companies in the nation”, explains RHK Productions. “Our events range from concert after-parties, Suberbowl parties, and model showcases to larger concerts and club events. We don’t discriminate when it comes to promotion, as long as it is a quality show in a safe environment, with good entertainment. We understand we won’t hit a home run with every event, but we’re still swinging for the fences with every event we promote.”
