To get a head start on the weekend, Girl’s Night Out in Plano, began Thursday. The weather was comfortably cool, and Happy Hour commenced on the patio of Ra, in the Shops of Legacy. Who could resist the subtle beats the DJ was spinning and their incredible Sushi to start a night? The crowd was perfect, not too crazy and not too dull. Ra has a patio that gives you the view from the outside in and down the street as well. There were many sun kissed faces to float your gaze upon.
Once the evening was well under way, the next stop on the list was Sambuca 360 just across Legacy. The sun had settled and the air was crisp and cool. The band at Sambuca’s was a heavy metal group/old school rock n roll, that appeared to be back in the “hair” days. The music was a nice alternative to what you might typically hear in that establishment. The female patrons were looking great and the men, fabulous! My entourage and I could not help but to send a flirty glance or two across the bar. Before we knew it, we were dancing the night away to hits from our past like, “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and drinking champagne. What an incredible time dancing, laughing, and making new friends!
After all that dancing and fun, it was time to head home. We decided to forgo the late night fast food and have a healthier snack at home; however, there was no more mayonnaise to accompany the turkey sandwiches, so we settled for the Grey Poupon. “Will you pass the Grey Poupon, Please?”. What would a night out on the town be without the hilarious one liners that top a night?
