As New York City buzzed about the legalization of same sex marriage, Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig quietly got married.
Remaining under the radar with their romance, everyone has been talking about the couple since they starred together in “The Dream House” last year. Occasionally the attractive duo denied the rumors of romance, but now it seems there’s no hiding their love.
Weisz, 41, and Craig, 43, tied the knot in New York last week. The famous couple had a tiny ceremony with four other people attending. The guests included two friends, Daniel’s son from a former marriage and Rachel’s son with Darren Aronovsky, the director of “Black Swan.”
In a city that never sleeps, it’s amazing Weisz and Craig were able to pull off such a private marriage ceremony in NYC. Apparently the rumors are true as E!Online reports when Craig’s rep was asked to comment, the rep said, “It is true.” According to further rumors, the couple exchanged vows at a friend’s home in NYS.
Weisz is already being referred to as “Mrs. Bond.” Meanwhile, British director Martin Campbell is referring to “Quantam of Solace” as a “bit of a mess.” Express reports Campell sided with Bond fans who were disappointed in Craig’s second appearance as James Bond.
Campbell said, “I thought it was lousy. The story was uninteresting and I didn’t think the action was related to the characters.”
Even if fans were disappointed in 007, few can resist the real-life romance between Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig.
