Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible for West Michigan Monday afternoon and evening.
A strong disturbance will pass across Lower Michigan bringing showers and thunderstorms. The strongest storms are likely along and south of I-94.
The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has placed part of Lower Michigan in the slight risk area for severe thunderstorms. Large hail and damaging wind will be the primary threats but isolated tornadoes are also possible.
Heavy rain is possible with a few of the storms. Rainfall amounts could approach one inch across parts of Southwest Lower Michigan.
