It’s never too early to start thinking about what reading material to take along on that summer vacation. Whether you will be camping in the great outdoors or headed to an exclusive and ritzy locale, make sure to pick up some of the following books that have already been released or are set to be released in the coming weeks. Memorial Day and the official kcik-off to the summer is just around the corner!
Murder and/or Mystery
A Killer Among Us by Lynette Eason is the third title in the Women of Justice series. Kit Kenyon is a hostage negotiator that has suddenly become the target of a murderer.

Chocolate-Covered Crime by Cynthia Hickey is the third book in the Hometown Mysteries series. When Summer’s wedding planner ends up dead with a letter opener sticking out of her chest, Summer must put her wedding on hold and solve the latest whodunit.
The Constantine Codex by Paul L. Maier tells the story of Harvard professor Jonathon Weber and what happens when he discovers what is purported to be further scriptures written by the apostle Mark. Whether the text is authentic or not, someone is determined that Weber doesn’t make his findings public.
Historical Fiction and/or Romance
Striking a Match by Tracie Peterson is a three-book series being released as a boxed set. The three titles, the first of which was released in October, 2010, follow the adventures of a matchmaker living in Texas during the 1880’s. Deborah Vandermark may make perfect matches for other couples, but what about her own life?
The Lady of Bolton Hill by Elizabeth Camden is the story of a female journalist who speaks out for London’s poor in her articles. Controversy forces her back to her home in Baltimore and she isn’t prepared for the changes she finds in her childhood sweetheart.
