Justin Bieber was reprimanded by a stewardess this weekend for acting unruly on a flight to Melbourne during take-off.
The Toronto Sun reports today that the 17-year old singer evoked the ire of the airline staff for allegedly disregarding requests to be seated while the plane taxied out on the runaway, forcing a female flight attendant to upbraid the Internet sensation.
The Canadian pop idol had just finished a pair of “My World” shows in Sydney, Australia and boarded the flight Sunday (5/01/11) bound for his next tour stop.
An Australian union boss, Paul Howes, who was sitting behind Bieber on the flight, witnessed the incident and confirmed the story.
Howes tweeted, “I was sitting right behind him… he did say sorry after being quite naughty… He was a little naughty but did apologize and the flight attendant wasn’t out of order.”
The “Baby” hitmaker is in Australia for 6 shows before he moving onto the Philippines and Japan.
The tour continues with 2 shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver tonight (5/02/11) and tomorrow.
Did you know? Justin Bieber hurt himself while boarding a plane in Bali, Indonesia last weekend, and defied his doctor’s recommendation to cancel his concert in Brisbane.
