PARSONS, Tennessee (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) — Holly Bobo’s parents issued a statement Tuesday thanking everyone who has helped search for their daughter, Holly Bobo, who was abducted three weeks ago on April 13; they are reaching out to the public for help to find her.
Kevin Bromley, spokesman for the Bobo family, issued Dana and Karen Bobos’ statement to media:
“We could never thank everyone enough for all the kindness that has been shown to our family during this difficult time.
“Thanks for your search efforts, donations, and especially your prayers for Holly and our Family.
“I know everyone’s daily life, routines, and work must go on, but ours never will until Holly’s safe return.
“Keep your eyes and ears open, and search your own property.
“Please pray for Holly’s strength and everyone who is searching for our precious Holly” ~ Holly Bobo’s family.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations spokeswoman, Krisin Helm, asks that people think about the past few weeks. Is there anything unusual someone has done to raise a red flag? If yes, call the authorities.
Holly Bobo is the 20-year-old nursing student who went missing from outside her family home in the small community of Darden on the outskirts of Parsons, Tennessee.
It’s been three long weeks since Dana and Karen’s beautiful daughter was taken from them. These parents want, and deserve, to have her home.
Holly deserves to be home. She deserves her life back.
She is a wonderful young lady with her entire life in front of her. Everyone has had nothing but great things to say about her. She is sweet, a little shy at times, but when you get to know her you immediately know what a wonderfu person she is.
Her cousin, country music star Whitney Duncan, said, “She’s beautiful, she’s sweet. She’s a good Christian girl. You know, kind of a shy, quiet girl until you get to know her and then she’s just funny, and sweet, and … she’s amazing.”
Holly’s community members say nothing is the same, and won’t be the same until Holly is home. They love her so much that they have been willing to do everything they could to help bring her home.
