After discussions of putting him in the Brian Viloria- Julio Cesar Miranda card in Hawaii on July 16, Mercito ‘No Mercy’ Gesta is back on the Brandon Rios-Urbano Antillon fight card on July 9 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California as originally slated. Gesta will also be joining the card’s featured fighters this Tuesday in LA for a press conference.

The SHOWTIME Championship Boxing telecast will also include highlights from overseas as IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (28-0, 23 KOs), defends his title for the eighth time – but first in his home country of Romania – against mandatory challenger Jean-Paul Mendy (29-0-1, 16 KOs), from France.
