It’s really surprising and interesting how much theatre is happening in Little Rock in the dead of summer. It wasn’t always this way. Here is an annoucement of a musical by the Community Theatre of Little Rock that looks like a lot of fun and it doesn’t open until the middle of July. But this should give you plenty of time to mark it on your calendar.
The Community Theatre of Little Rock presents its Summer Musical production of “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” on July 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th and 30th at 7:30 pm and July 17th, 24th and 31st at 2:00 pm, at the Public Theatre, located at 616 Center Street, next to Horn’s in downtown Little Rock. Admission is $16 for adults, $14 for military, students and seniors age 65 and over, $14 for groups of 10 or more. Due to Adult Themes, this show is not recommended for children.
There will be a ‘Pocket Price Preview’ of the show July 14th at 7:30pm. Admission is whatever the patron can pay, but seating is strictly first-come, first-serve; no reservations will be taken for this special performance.
There’s a new tenant at Armadillo Acres—and she’s wreaking havoc all over Florida’s most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil–loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband—the storms begin to brew.
