Asian Gourmet is an Asian fusion restaurant that strives to bring you the best flavors from all different parts of Asia. Combining tastes from China, Thailand, Japan, Vietnamese and Malaysian; a great place to satisfy a dubious palate for you and your family. But, the food and service was disappointing.
A unique atmospheric setting that combine details from a love story with a refreshing modern taste, using dark wooden furniture to accent the romantic mood. Of course, everyone is welcome, but it’s best to bring someone you adore to enjoy a refreshing cold drink or share a crepe and talk about the possible future. However, be prepared to get frustrated because the staff crew will ignore and smack an attitude to a long stay.
Overall, Asian Gourmet has a cute décor and ambience, but not a recommended place to eat at. The menu was self-explanatory with pictures provided and delivered exactly what was seen in the menu. However, the taste and flavor was a different story.
Tortilla Pizza Tuna: Raw tuna, guacamole, onions, tobiko, sesame seeds with spicy sauce. It was served on a crispy tortilla base, with unfresh tuna, which was not a good start to the meal. It was not spicy and had limited mixtures to create a tasteful pizza.
Golden Crispy Chicken: Deep-fried chicken with a spicy lime sauce. Well, the good thing was that it was exactly what you ordered; however, the dish was disgusting, not even edible to a hungry animal. The tasteless batter was flaky and unbearable. The meat was dry and overcooked–mixing it with the sauce just made it worse. The one dish you do not want to touch, bring home or even look at.
