Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat-Month is upon us throughout the month of June. So many cats and kittens need purrfect homes and deserve to be featured. So many felines are meowing for your love and attention.
Partnering with suburban Elk Grove based Almost Home Foundation, (AHF) (http://www.almosthomefoundation.org) this month will be filled with daily features of cats and kittens.
Satin is a beautiful white cat looking for the purrfect home. She is in the care of suburban Chicago based Almost Home Foundation. Just think white sheets on your bed and a white cat to cuddle with you! Satin needs a home where she is the only cat. She doesn’t like other cats. Perhaps you are a person that doesn’t like other people? You two would purrhaps make the best combo!
“Enchanting eyes…dainty little paws… the softest, silkiest, and shiniest fur you’ll ever touch…Yes, you’re looking at a cat who makes purrfection look effortless!
A gorgeous all-white cat, Satin is always dressed to the nines. Is there a diva attitude behind that face? Yup, she’s got a little bit of diva in her—and a whole lot of love. Her priceless gaze begs the question: “How can you possibly resist me?”
Satin is a rare combination of: • Beauty—her coat drips with luxury… • Affection—there’s no such thing as too many cuddles n snuggles… • Intelligence—just try to outwit her… • Confidence—she knows EXACTLY what she wants out of life… • Laughter—she has a sense of humor and will make you laugh… • Playfulness—she loves the Turbo Scratcher, and is obsessed with the laser light toy!
Satin is absolutely loaded with purrsonality. She loves attention and being with people. She kneads like crazy when she’s happy—which is often. She is loving and playful at the same time. And no bad manners or messiness here! She’s a pro at being classy, a true lady. All in all, she’s the feline companion that many people dream of but can never quite find.
Satin was once a homeless stray living on the streets. She had no shelter or friends and had to fight for food and safety. Local police officers found her one-day…and then she got a serious upgrade! Almost Home Foundation found a foster home for her. She has her own room there, and for a very special reason: Satin is completely deaf.
Why would a deaf cat need her own room? Just imagine what Satin’s life must have been like when she was all alone and unable to hear outside. She developed protective instincts out there, and as a result, she is very defensive around other cats. In order to survive in the wild, she needed to be like that. She is indoors now, but her protective instincts have remained.
Her total dislike of other cats cannot be changed—it is part of who she is. Satin absolutely needed her own room in her foster home. She can’t be with other cats. And she absolutely must be the only cat in her forever home.
Satin is a true rags-to-riches story: she started out with nothing, and now has almost everything she wants! Well…almost everything. She is very spoiled in her foster home, but still lacks the one thing that every cat dreams of: A Forever Home. Satin can’t wait to be someone’s one and only princess, reigning supreme on a throne of her very own!
Satin loves living in the spotlight; she is always the main event. She dreams big—and definitely has moments when you’re sure to think she’s the height of spoiled. High expectations? Yes, Satin’s desires are unrivaled by those of any other cat. Is it worth it? Without question! Just try not to smile when she curls up with you.
A former stray turned diva, a pretty supermodel, an expert love bug, and so much more, this is one cat that has been through a lot—yet has made the best of it. She truly deserves the forever home of her dreams. The way Satin sees it, life is a fairy tale and she’s the beautiful princess who lives happily ever after!
Well, this could go on and on…but Satin is exhausted from telling you about herself and says she needs her beauty rest. So, we’ll leave it at that! If Satin has caught your heart, please contact her foster family at [email protected]“
