Sammy’s Beach Bar had quite a bit of success last year so it makes sense that Bally’s decided to bring it back again this year. The look and feel of the bar is similar to last year, but they’ve made a few big changes with the drink menu additions of 24 oz. Red Rocker Guitars filled with the drink of your choice and 32 oz. buckets filled with a Cruzan rum cocktail.
Drinks: The drinks featured on the regular menu are somewhat pricey so if you stick to the specials (listed below) you’ll be able to have a lot more fun with a lot less money. Note that each day features at least one $3 drink special.

Food: Being on the beach doesn’t allow them the opportunity to have a huge food menu. You can still get the bar basics like nachos, wings, burger and fries, but there’s not much room for substitution or customization. The food prices are a bit steep so if you’re really hungry, or looking for more than just appetizers, you should check out Johnny Rockets on the boardwalk or the various restaurants located in the Pier Shops at Caesars.
Service: The type of service you get here will really depend on what day and what time you decide to go. Nights and weekends will be much busier; therefore, the service will be understandably slower. Generally, though, all of the servers are friendly and do their best to accommodate every customer as quickly as they can.
Atmosphere: There’s a laid-back, beachy vibe during the day but the party will get going as the sun goes down. There is live entertainment practically every night. Remember that this beach bar is located in the center of the boardwalk – in other words, expect a large crowd, especially on weekends. Sometimes a crowded bar can be fun; other times it can ruin your night. Keep this in mind as you make your plans for the evening.
Overall: If you’re looking to have a beach bar experience on a budget then this is definitely the one for you. The specials are fantastic and the location is perfect. Just be prepared to fight the crowds!
